Description
Company LONGi Solar has released a new series of double-sided solar panels Hi-MO 7 Explorer. This model uses state-of-the-art N-type HPDC cell technology. It delivers high performance, wears out more slowly (low degradation), and consistently generates energy even under adverse weather conditions.

N-type HPDC technology
This technology helps solar cells capture light more effectively and reduces energy loss. Since the panel is bifacial, it generates electricity not only from the front but also from the back, absorbing light reflected from the ground, the roof, or other surfaces. This allows for more electricity to be generated from the same area.
Key Technical Specifications
Model LR7-72HVD-645M It is suitable for any type of solar power plant: grid-connected, off-grid, or hybrid. With a power output of 645 W, it works perfectly both for selling electricity under the «green tariff» program and for powering your own home or business (Net Billing).
- Rated power: 645 watts
- Maximum efficiency: up to 22.8%
- Short-circuit current (Isc): 14:28 A
- Open-circuit voltage (Voc): 54.21 B
- Number of elements: 144 half-cells
The panel dimensions are 2382 × 1134 × 30 mm, and the weight is — 33.5 kg. The panel frame is sturdy and easy to transport and install using various types of mounting hardware.

Reliability and Security
The solar cells are protected on both sides by double-layered tempered glass (2 mm thick on each side). The frame is made of a durable aluminum alloy 30 mm thick. This design prevents microcracks from forming and extends the panel’s service life.
- The panel can withstand heavy snow loads (up to 5,400 Pa) and strong winds (up to 2,400 Pa).
- It passed a hail test (25 mm in diameter at a wind speed of 23 m/s).
- It is resistant to moisture, salt, ammonia, and dust, making it suitable for any climate.
- It has the highest rating for water and dust protection (IP68), so it is completely safe from electric shock.
Certificates and Warranty
The equipment has all the necessary international quality and safety certifications. Its reliability has been verified by the independent laboratory TÜV Rheinland.
The manufacturer provides the following warranty terms:
- 12 years — a warranty on materials and workmanship.
- 30 years — a guarantee of power retention.
The panel loses less than 1% of power in its first year of operation, and no more than 0.4% in each subsequent year. In other words, after 30 years of continuous operation, it will retain at least 87.4% of its original power.
