Description
Gel Rechargeable Battery Ritar GL DG12-200 12V 200Ah – one of the best solutions for backup power systems in areas where there are frequent power outages or where there is no power supply at all. The gel-like electrolyte is the hallmark of this type of battery. The battery case is sealed and maintenance-free. The recommended operating temperature range is -20 °C to 50 °C, with an optimal temperature of +25 °C.
The battery capacity is 200 ampere-hours. Nominal voltage: 12 volts. Suitable for use in both small 12-volt systems and 24- or 48-volt whole-house power systems when connected in series with other batteries. It is important that the other batteries in the series connection be identical in capacity, technical specifications, and date of manufacture. Its resistance to deep discharge (down to 10.5 V) allows it to be used as the primary power source in off-grid locations paired with solar panels where there is no electrical grid. Rated for 550 deep charge-discharge cycles (for AGM batteries, this figure is 300–400 cycles). In partial discharge and constant trickle-charge mode, the service life increases by 2–3 times and can even reach 8–9 years!
This battery is perfect for use in:
– backup power systems
– solar power plants
– systems with a wind turbine
The battery measures 522 × 240 × 219 mm and weighs 60 kg. It comes with a 12-month warranty. If the battery is not used for an extended period, we recommend fully charging and discharging it at least once per season to prevent sulfation (clogging of the plates and loss of battery capacity). In addition, if the battery is not used for a long time but remains connected to a UPS, it will lose its charge due to its own internal consumption and the UPS’s power consumption. To prevent excessive discharge, we recommend disconnecting the terminals from the battery if it is not used for an extended period.
